Lieutenant Colonel
PATRICK D. BURKE

Graduated OCS

Fort Benning, Georgia
1969

Biography

I owe what I feel was my success to my time in the Army and especially to the lessons learned in OCS. After leaving the Army, I worked for financial institutions and became a Financial Advisor. But my biggest thrill was swearing my son into the Army and then sending my CIB earned in Vietnam to his unit to be awarded to him in Afghanistan. In 2006, I was ordained a permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church for the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana.
